I just thought of something weird.

We can't feel, taste, hear or see time, so it kind of doesn't exist to us.

Still, at some point, we humans had to come up with the idea that our life on this earth had to be measured. We had to know how much time passed between activities or how many years we may have left.

But what if we never "discovered" time? Even according to wikipedia, time is something that keeps things from happening at the same time. So what if we never knew this concept? We could believe the world was a lot more magical place, that errors could be fixed and that there was always enough time, even if we didn't know what it was.

We wouldn't have schools that lasted years, we would find out what we needed to know and get on with that information. We wouldn't fill our lives with work or nasty meetings. Instead we would be more interested in important things. We wouldn't waste time, because we didn't know it existed. We would find something else to fill our lives with, than to watch day turn into night and panic because we don't have enough time to sleep. We could do something. We could live more.

I just thought of this and it makes me feel weird. Why do I have to feel anxious with every minute that passes? Because I SEE every minute that passes. Because I have so much more to do. Because the clock tells me that there is no way that I have enough time to do everything I ever wanted. Because some douchebag thought that we somehow needed to know this, measure this.

Well, fuck it. I'm still going to "waste" my time and do not what I'm supposed to, but what I want to.
